Profile

Dr. Wu has over a decade of experience in patent practice for domestic and foreign clients, including patent preparation and prosecution; patentability analysis; validity assessment; foreign prosecution; patent reissue and reexamination proceedings; and patent portfolio development and management.  Dr. Wu has particular expertise in the areas of semiconductors, computer applications, microelectronic devices, displays, solar cells, excavators, electronic modular blocks, satellite communications, bio-chips, and printers.

Prior to joining Anova, Dr. Wu was a patent agent with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman and MH2 Technology Law Group.  Before that, Dr. Wu worked as a senior scientist at Biotechnology Institute (UMBI) and Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the University of Maryland, where she focused on nanotechnology, microelectromechanical system (MEMS) devices, electrochemical aspects of materials, etc.  

Dr. Wu has published numerous (30+) peer-reviewed technical articles in various Journals.  Dr. Wu is also an inventor for a number of patents.
