Profile

Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Nanjing University and then worked at Nanjing University, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and University of Maryland, College Park as a postdoctoral researcher/scientist. His research interests include experimental condensed matter physics, material science, magnetoelectronics and spintronics, and so on. Dr. Wang has published over 30 articles in prestigious journals including Scientific Reports, Physical Review X, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, Journal of the American Chemical Society, etc. 

Dr. Wang has over 15 years’ research experience in materials science and engineering, spintronic devices, and condensed matter physics. He has performed extensive studies on multiferroic/magnetoelctric coupling materials, magnetoelectric sensors, superconducting and topological materials. Dr. Wang is familiar with various thin film fabrication and bulk material synthesis methods and is experienced with characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Low temperature technology, etc. He is an expert in material/device fabrication and characterization.
