Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Physics from Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and then worked at University of Maryland, College Park as a postdoctoral researcher. His research interests include experimental condensed matter physics, material science and engineering, nanoscience and nanotechnology, semiconductor devices, and so on. Dr. Wang has published over 20 articles in prestigious journals including Science, Scientific Reports, Physical Review Letters, Physical Review B, Applied Physics Letters, Journal of the American Chemical Society, etc.
Dr. Wang has over 10 years working experience in clean room. He is an expert in device fabrication and materials characterization. He has extensive experience in thin film deposition, including molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and electron-beam and thermal evaporation. He is familiar with various techniques such as scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy (STM/STS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).
