Profile
Dr. Hang is an attorney with Anova Law Group, managing all aspects of IP legal practices. Specifically, Dr. Hang focuses her effort on IP practice as a liaison between Chinese inventive entities and US business opportunities. In her many years of patent practice, Dr. Hang prepares and prosecutes patent applications in a variety of technical arts, and is a seasoned advisor on patent matters pertinent in several foreign countries including China. In particular, Dr. Hang managed a patent portfolio of hundreds of cases for a Fortune 50 company, mentored junior patent professionals, and conducted patent roadshows in a number of cities. Dr. Hang authored a number of legal articles published with Law360R.
In her scientific endeavor, Dr. Hang was a research scientist at a world-renowned pharmaceutical company where she was responsible for projects in the fields of proteomics and genomics. She also has extensive experience in biological sciences and animal research, including years of studying the role of prolactin and rapamycin in endocrinological signaling pathways. Dr. Hang is the author or coauthor to scientific publications based on academic and professional research and industry applications of biotechnology.
Dr. Hang received a Ph.D. in biochemistry and physiology from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Dr. Hang also communicates fluently in Mandarin and Shanghai dialect.
