Profile
Dr. Wang has over fifteen years research experience in science and technology, and his expertise includes chemical engineering, material science, analytical chemistry, environmental engineering, and computer science. Dr. Wang has performed extensive studies on novel materials including multi-level hollow nanomaterials, responsive smart materials, magnetic materials, iron-carbon nanoparticles. Dr. Wang has rich operation and analysis experience on scientific instrumentation, including scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), Fourier transformed inferred spectroscopy (FTIR), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), X-ray diffraction (XRD), gas chromatography (GC), high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID). Dr. Wang has published many peer-reviewed journal articles on Langmuir, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, Geophysical Research Letters, Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Research, Royal Society of Chemistry Advances, etc.
Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in chemical and biomolecular engineering from Tulane University after graduated from Dalian University of Technology (B.E) and Johns Hopkins University (M.E).
